We’ve changed our name from O’Brien Electrical Greensborough to Laser® Electrical Greensborough. While our name and look have changed, the things that matter most haven’t. O’Brien Electrical Greensborough has been one of Melbourne’s most reliable electrical contractors for over 30 years

Founder Paul Harty started his apprenticeship and career in the electrical industry at 15 years of age, working and mastering his trade for 10 years before launching his own business with wife Jenni Harty in 1987. From humble beginnings as P&J Harty Electrical, we now have an enviable reputation in the electrical field, which was initially built on our installation services of the first computers in Coles stores across Melbourne.

Throughout the years, we have built a network of subcontractors across Australia, helping us support and expand a diverse clientele. In 2004, the company joined Laser® Group as a founding member of Laser® Electrical Australia. In 2019, a new door opened with more opportunities, as we re-branded to O’Brien Electrical Greensborough, in sync with O’Brien Glass Industries’ acquisition of the Laser® Group.
